Feeding Therapy
A specialized, individualized approach to food refusal, selectivity, mealtime behaviors and safe eating and drinking for children with swallowing difficulties.
Speech & Language Therapy
Our speech-language pathologists help children communicate so they can build happy, healthy relationships with family, friends and caregivers, one conversation at a time.

How we help
Communication draws on many skills at once: speech, language, listening and social understanding. When one piece is harder for a child, everyday moments like asking for help, joining a game or telling you about their day can become frustrating for everyone.
Children of all ages and a wide range of diagnoses, including autism, cerebral palsy, sensory processing disorder, dyspraxia, Down syndrome, ADHD, and speech, language and developmental delays.
What we treat
Every child is unique, but these are some of the most common reasons families reach out to our speech team.
Commonly requested
Our therapists are trained and certified in a wide range of treatment approaches. These are some of the most requested. If you’re looking for something specific, just ask!

A specialized, individualized approach to food refusal, selectivity, mealtime behaviors and safe eating and drinking for children with swallowing difficulties.

Stand-alone devices and tablet apps that give a voice to children who have trouble speaking, so they can share ideas and connect with others.

Oral-placement therapy techniques and tools that add a tactile element to speech and feeding therapy, helping children “feel” the movements needed for clearer speech.

A concept-imagery program that builds language comprehension, thinking, reading, writing, memory and vocabulary skills.

A social skills curriculum for children who find social situations challenging, offered through individual and paired sessions.

A tactile-kinesthetic approach that helps children develop the motor control of the oral muscles needed for speech.
Common areas of focus
The ability to recognize and play with the sounds of spoken language is the foundation for learning to read. Some children pick it up naturally; others thrive with structured, supportive teaching.
Social skills shape how children communicate, play and make friends. These are rarely taught directly, yet they’re the foundation for positive relationships and confident communication throughout life.
One team, four specialties
Many children benefit from more than one kind of therapy. Our team coordinates care.

The everyday skills of childhood: getting dressed, holding a pencil, handling big feelings, and feeling calm and ready to learn.
